She is my Badass heroine of the year. She tore the UN a new Butthole and got an ovation for it. Trump is too stupid to figure out what an ass he is following her. Such a contrast

So proud of her, her knowledge, her gumption & her strength. So ashamed of the leader(s) of my country.

@Lincoln55 dreams are where change begins

I wish he did actually follow her, he might learn something ... naw, inconceivable!

It doesn't take very much to show how stupid this nutball is.
I agree, we have and continue to steal our children's future. We need to stop pointing fingers (remember 3 are pointing back) and have more honest, open and use evidence based, reasoned discussions on the causes and potential cures. It won't be easy, it won't be pretty and people won't be happy. We need to think outside the tribal boxes and stop feeling inside it.

I love this girl. She's the badass this world needs. I'm saddened that she has to shoulder this at such a young age, but she totally owns ut. Backed with facts, science and passion. She has my utmost respect

@Lincoln55 I personally know a lot of forward and Progressive thinking young people. I think that's what this world needs and I'm glad that they are here.

@Lincoln55 yes they are. And they are also the driving force for change

More wisdom in her little finger than the whole USA administration put together. Actually it’s not just the Trump regime she was railing against, but all the UN member states. It’s just that the others are not doing enough, quickly enough...but the USA under Trump is actually reversing all measures to slow global warming. That is an act of criminality against the planet.

I completely agree and as a U.S. citizen I'm apalled and angry about what our government is doing. I feel like I owe the world an apology, even though I didn't vote these vile, dangerous people into office.

@Livinlife But we do vote with our money and actions (and consumerism).

@JackPedigo True...we are all guilty to some extent.

@Marionville Not one single person has a positive effect on our life support system (including myself). We all need sustenance, shelter, a livelihood and we all create waste and pollution. It is said even our deaths create harm to the environment. All we can do is lower our impact as much as we can. The biggest problem is about trying to help others increase their impact. Will that help or hurt the cause? In the end it is the total carbon emissions that count.

@Livinlife As a U.S. citizen, same here... Sorry world! We'll get him out as soon as we can.

Ecocide will hopefully be a crime one day.

@JackPedigo I'm very careful and aware of who I support with my day-to-day life. When I do support wrong side for lack of a better way of putting it, it's out of ignorance. As the old saying goes you do the best you can and when you know better you do better

@Livinlife I, like you also try to learn even if it's something I don't like. I wonder how much these kids realize not only must we change our lives but so should they in the future (if there is one). It is too easy to blame corporations (and they often have made things worse by their propaganda) but they need us to buy their so called services and products. When the French president wanted to limit greenhouse gas emissions he tried to raise gas prices several cents. The result were the rise of the "yellow jackets." When people feel their livelihoods are threatened they don't care about tomorrow, they care about today. How do we overcome that?

@JackPedigo That indeed is the conundrum....it’s always easier to blame others than to face the consequences and shoulder the burden ourselves.

This time they can not denie that they are telling the truth!!'

Unlike those who were against the Vietnam, Middle-eastern wars, and those who fought in those wars who wanted to stop this carnage their time was the end time which is set upon by the same wealthy and their corporations who created the Vietnam war, Gulf, Iranian, and Afghanistan wars, and the fossil fuels war against humanity all for their own personal gain, greed, and power!!!

Wouldn't be fun for her to debate with Trump

If the offer went out and he backs down - he looses for cowardice. If he crushes her, he looses for being a cunt to a young girl with Aspbergers, chances are she will win, she is far more intelligent and devoted to the cause, and then he looses.
Now how can this be organised?

@Lincoln55 Just saw her looking at Trump on the news here (BBC UK), WOW! If looks could kill, when's Trumps funeral?
Haha, he'll be lie-ing in state! Couldn't help that one
