If we were actually accomplishing anything other than rearranging rubble and killing non-combatants, I'd be all for our efforts in The Sandbox. Maybe something like this as a "ticker tape" running across the news shows would put just the monetary cost of warfare into everyone's thoughts:

We'd be so much more effective if we dropped depo provera into their water supply.

Let's see... $65,000 a year (not including room and board) , X four, X 3,428... So just under $900,000,000 in one morning's drop? Something tells me there is a better way.. And by better, of course I mean more economical. But what, pray tell, could that be? I heard someone say once that it would do more good to drop Penthouse magazines and Jergens Hand Lotion on those guys. 😒

WHAAAAATT... It may help for a little while at least..

I’d been ‘campaigning’ back in OR for a new roof for our depression era school when I’d learned the Taliban had just ‘blown up’ eight new schools built for them by the USA. The news of that region went on to describe how many miles of new ‘4 lane highways’ we’d built for them as well … while we couldn’t get our State Highway Dept. to even patch our 2 lane road..

Policing the worldwhile neglecting our own..

IOW, American scholarships to Harvard defunded, so that America could afford to engage in war on Syria.
