By purposefully submitting an ad that doesn't meet even the basic requirements of an organization that Trump loathes helps cement in the cult's mind the idea that the media, in particular CNN, are the enemy as it also appeals to the victimhood mentality of the far-right.

This is what we need. Real journalism should have an obligation to not peddle falsehoods no matter their source. This is how we got into this mess in the first place. Unfortunately, money seems to be a driving force that even overcomes decency and honesty. I say good for CNN and hope more viable news outlets follow. We can't beat Faux news by doing the same tactics it does.

I'm not sure this is the best way to fight back. We do still have free speech in this County, including those that tell lies like this ad does. I believe it would be better to run an add right after to counter the lies with the truth of what trump is doing to our Country.

If ever it was time to take a stand, this is it!

When a news agency can choose which paid political ads its viewers will be allowed to see, it is just a small step to controlling other aspects of our lives through broadcasts (tv, radio, internet)
