Continuing the cover-up of the cover-up, Trump is too stupid to realize that we have two other co-equal branches of government **

Donald J. Trump:
I would love to send Ambassador Sondland, a really good man and great American, to testify, but unfortunately he would be testifying before a totally compromised kangaroo court, where Republican’s rights have been taken away, and true facts are not allowed out for the public....
....to see. Importantly, Ambassador Sondland’s tweet, which few report, stated, “I believe you are incorrect about President Trump’s intentions. The President has been crystal clear: no quid pro quo’s of any kind.” That says it ALL! [twitter.com]

Twitter:

George Takei: You are a liar and a chicken.

BREAKING: the guy that takes away people's rights falsely claims that Republican's rights have been taken away.
The irony.

In other words, you are fucked and now are obstructing justice.
Fuck you...you are a motherfucker.
And you will be impeached!

#BREAKING Man With Nothing To Hide Explains Why He Has To Hide Everything

That is so completely not your call to make. You don't get to say "Well I don't like this court so therefore I'm not testifying in it." That's not how our laws work.

If #DonaldTrump doesn’t have anything to hide, why is he preventing Ambassador Gordon Sondland from testifying before Congress?? ??

Fact of the matter is Donald Trump asked on the South Lawn for Ukraine, China to investigate a political opponent. Text messages between his ambassadors show support was withheld and how to get it, which phone call alluded to. Imagine what Republicans be saying if it was Obama ??

Richard Nixon was going to be impeached because he was a crook. He took risks and one did not pay off, but he was smart enough to eventually know that the game was over....

There are some really amusing replies on that tweet.

on the bright side, DT is at least ruining his chances to be re elected, and also teh GOP chances of mounting any other campaign

Question is, how Senate act if Trump is sent up for impeachment. Quite likely to find no case to answer. Cruz will probably lead the questioning and quiz Trump on a Dr Seuss story rather than what he planned for the Biden's.
Now if it can be arranged to happen before Christmas that would help me in my degree studies.....

It’s a no-win situation for the filthy Republicans; early impeachment gives them ‘pence,’ which the US should/ would reject as they had ‘ford’ in the day.

And next summer (if they really want to drag this out) ... by the time these Republican A-Hole Senators need reelecting, let alone their House cohorts ..and they’re still supporting this freak - bye bye mitch ..and friends 😉

Jim Acosta
Schiff on Sondland: “The failure to produce this witness, the failure to produce these documents, we consider yet additional strong evidence of obstruction of the constitutional functions of Congress.”

Jake Tapper Retweeted Renato Mariotti
Sondland is the guy who, in response to a text about a quid pro quo, wanted to stop texting and move the conversation to a phone call. It’s hard to see that testimony going well.

An obvious conclusion from the very last minute decision to block Sondland from appearing: His truthful testimony would have been devastating for Trump.
