How many times has a country in the middle east eventually attacked us with weapons we left behind? Now I find we are storing nuclear weapons in Turkey. Crap! [stripes.com]
Yes, I love the way they leave weapons and live ammo behind after manouvres, it's something my friends have comments and I thought was unbelievable...but it's been mentioned more than once. I thought nukes would be more accounted for though!
Weren’t these weapons removed after the Cuban missile crisis?
Anyhow, I seriously doubt there is need for worry. They are on a US military base and the chance of us just leaving them behind is remote to say the least.
The US has weapons stored in many NATO countries. So if we need them...they are easily accessible. Nothing new about that. And Turkey has been a strong ally for many years. It is only now that we have a Putin puppet in the White House who is hell bent on destroying the relationship between allies. Probably on orders from his handler. I am sure Vladimir is laughing all the way to Syria.
