I signed up a while ago thinking it as a dating site too. I was fairly active early on. I haven’t met anyone in person from here, but did make one local friendship. But that’s it. I figured the chances of “meeting” someone here would be higher than here in BFE, Texas. But still, most of you live far away (and the close ones are inactive). In fact, the most of the people who have visited my profile are guys. LMAO I guess I should be more active and make things happen; but as far as dating, I’ve been disappointed. However, I have thoroughly enjoyed reading the thought-provoking questions and articles posted here. So, that’s a win. Sending good vibes to you all!

Welcome to the site. I came on here at first to use it as a dating site, just like yourself but as members are so widely spread. It has become more of a community FB type of thing for me.

Welcome to the highway to hell where you can live free and go as fast or a slow as you like. No religion here to regulate how you think about a damn thing. You are amongst friends. Even in my short tenure here I know things can get testy at times. But at the end of the day I am pretty sure there is respect and acceptance all around.

I still have hopes, unfortunately most aren't anywhere close to me..however not being barraged by believers is wonderful.

It can be anything you like.

I've met some great guys on this site. It's a terrific site, unlike any other dating site. I'm glad I signed on.

This site is what you want to make it. For people like myself it is an opportunity to be exposed to many differing views and possibly improve my critical thinking with like minded (agnostic) friends of varied view points.

It can be whatever you want it to be. The problem with the dating bit is the variable locations...literally all over the globe! Good luck anyway, even if you don’t manage to meet your soulmate, I feel sure you’ll enjoy the craic anyway!

There are interesting discussions to be had here. It hasn't worked out well as a dating site for me because I live in a sparsely populated area - at least where atheists are concerned. But I do enjoy interacting online.

I'm still spooked from the marriage I led with my fundamental christian wife and unsure if that has or has not spoiled all relationships for me. Right now I am extremely cautious and looking for a like-minded partner rather than anything sensual.
But the two of us are too far apart anyway (I live in Tenerife / Spain) so I suppose I am answering as a therapeutic measure.
