I don't think it's a problem that will be going away. There is a strange voyeuristic compulsion that is operating at the primal level, especially when men feel sexually stimulated. For many men this compulsion disrupts basic perspective. They strangely believe you want to see it, and furthermore the idea of you seeing it is in itself sexually stimulating.

Note that I'm not saying it's okay to send unsolicited dick pics. It's a bad idea, I agree. I'm just offering up a clinical male perspective on the issue.

Now to the public service announcement:

Men, stop sending unsolicited dick pics. Get permission first, but don't hold your breath waiting for it.

Sometimes when I get an unsolicited dick pic I tell them, “Whew! Thank you for not wasting my time.”

Have you ever gotten a dick pic?

That they think dick images are that important overall is perhaps the saddest part.
That men think a dick pic is going to make the women come out of the bushes (ha) is relatively stupid.
That they think the same dick comparison wars translate to relationships with women is eye rolling.
That they think showing their dick will achieve "tit" for tat with women is laughable--straight off the playground "show me yours I'll show you mine".

I did not have any photos of me more recent than 5 years. I was always behind the lens.

It's only in the past 12 months that I was "forced" to take a few selfies. No way would I try to present myself with old pics.

I guess I need a little more time before "graduating" to selfies of "the little guy".
