Question for the more "seasoned" among us: Is it true that most people have a complete transformation at some point during middle age? I mean completely change perspective, worldview, priorities, etc?

I think it can come at any age. I've had a few and the most recent has been a very gradual evolution taking a few years. And I think I'm still evolving, or at least I hope so.

I've always been a liberal. My family always came first. I've always voted. Worldviews..we are all people regardless of where we are or where we came from. People came to the US looking for something better while running from something bad. IMO I haven't changed much since I was 18. Whether that's good or bad I really can't say. I am what I am and I ain't what I ain't. John Prine

It’s an interesting question. I haven’t read any statistics on that, so I don’t know about most people. I’ve gone through the incremental changes throughout life, as I assume many do, but then a radical worldview rebuild at age 67.

As a person who is "well seasoned" and marinated, I can't tell you,,,,,,,,,,,,,,what was the question? How do you cook a what?,,,,,,,,,,,

I chose a lifestyle in my twenties that made adaptability a very necessary skill. I have slowly evolved to become who I am.

Hasn't happened to me yet and it is unlikely this late. I am a finished product.

For me priorities and focus change throughout life. I have been fortunate to be able to flow with those changes. I suspect some are not as lucky hence the onset of ‘mid-life crisis’
