As an Australian Prime Minister once said many years ago "life isn't meant to be easy".
Australia is currently in a state of disaster through out of control bushfires. For the residents of some streets in Cooma, NSW the problem was water.

Just made a donation to the Australian wildfires.....anyone joining me?

I hope that was to benefit the victims or firefighting capabilities and not by way of an incendiary bomb? 😉😕🙂😁👍

@FrayedBear Yes sir, as a past recipient of funds due to being evacuated, I try.

@Lilac-Jade And please I'm not "sir". I answer a number of monickers. In order of popularity they are Richard, GypsyJack, Frayed Bear, Jack, Rjn, Gypsy, and FB.

@FrayedBear I use sir, & ma'am as expressions sometimes. Richard is my husband's name, so I won't use that one.

@Lilac-Jade All the others are ok.

Did Australians rake the leaves as Trump suggested from Californians?

Sorry, we were waiting for our own Happy Clappy prime minister to tell us.

I think that he told everyone that they should pray more -

@Jolanta That picture of him holding a lump of coal in Parliament shows him to be a carbamor (or if you prefer Greek, try anthrakaphile).

Is there a good place for me to donate by paypal, where the money will go where it's supposed to?

Here is a start for you to look to suit your proclivities -

@FrayedBear Thank you so much. As a past wildfire evacuee for 18 days myself, I try to donate as often as I can, no matter where these fires are. Many of our Canadian firefighters are there, & more are leaving on Monday.

@Lilac-Jade We are all grateful to the firefighters who have & are flying in from around the world.

@FrayedBear We have to help, however we can.

Malcolm Frazer was Jewish?

Looks like I was fed false information. Withdrawn.

@FrayedBear Malcolm Fraser -- sorry for misspelling before:

"Fraser attended Anglican schools, although his parents were Presbyterian.[58] In university he was inclined towards atheism, once writing that "the idea that God exists is a nonsense". However, his beliefs became less definite over time and tended towards agnosticism.[59] During his political career, he occasionally self-described as Christian, such as in a 1975 interview with The Catholic Weekly.[60] Margaret Simons, the co-author of Fraser's memoirs, thought that he was "not religious, and yet thinks religion is a necessary thing". In a 2010 interview with her, he said: "I would probably like to be less logical and, you know, really able to believe there is a god, whether it is Allah, or the Christian god, or some other – but I think I studied too much philosophy ... you can never know"."

Where's Judaism?
