Tell me about the most irritating thing your pet does...
Tonight Heath (See pic) decided that while I was enjoying a long soak in the bathtub that he wanted in!
He proceeded to jiggle the doorknob with both his front paws for at least 20 minutes.
He finally got the roommate's attention - who said in a concerned voice from outside the door "Are you alright in there....?" - because apparently the cat was putting on a tremendous show of concern for me out in the hall.
She figured at the very least I'd fallen asleep in there and the cat was trying to rescue me.
Little furry terrorist.
He had both paws on the doorknob twisting it back and forth. If he ever succeeds in getting the door open we're sunk.
We'll have to get child caps for all the doors.
We already had to change the handle to the cellar because he learned to bump it open.
Matilda used to get me awake by standing on me with her sharp little feet. If that didnβt work, sheβd bark and jump with her front feet.
I really miss that now.
Even when they terrorize us - we love them.
Mine learned how to open the bathroom door! Everytime I go in they're going in too, no matter what! LOL!!!
I'm used to them coming in - but I was midway through and he decided then he wanted in? lol
Heath is starting to do it to Lucy too.... He just loves to be where we are.
@RavenCT Awwww!!!! Mine are a team! I see their paws under the door then hear the doorknob and they're inside looking at me like how dare I close the door on them! Lol
@MichelleGar1 if he didn't have such fluffy paws I think he'd have it. If he got help? We'd be in trouble.
@RavenCT He's a cutie!
Wait...you go to the bathroom without pets? Not in 45+ years.......
If I'd known he wanted in - he'd have come in... but it was mid-way through the bath? lol
He's working on the roommate.... he's like "Hey you're just getting dressed can I come help?" it's hilarious. He loves to be where we are doing.
I have to admit the doorknob jiggling is a lot like a horror movie though...
Looks allot like my housemate, or one of them
My cats wait til I am asleep and coverup in my bed and then the two females lay down one on my front side the other on my backside, making it hard to move around while sleeping!!!
Next is my Male cat comes in and neads the pillow next to me to wake me up between six fifteen to seven fifteen, no snooze on his agenda for me!!!
That is so he can go out, he will not use a litter box like the females.
When daylights saving time kicks in it will an hour later hopefully!!! LOL!!!
I often get tucked in by two of my cats - one likes to get tucked right in next to my hips somewhere (sometimes on them) the other grabs an ankle.
Your cats are adorable!
We never close the doors here unless we have company. It's better on the nerves, & the carpets, & paint job.
Tiggs, my cat, loves to use the house as a parkour circuit! running and bouncing off the walls, scaring the living daylights out of us! Oh, and being sick on the sofa too. Still love her!
They should be credited with parkour!
Funny story. Oh my oh my ... lover boy is an evil genius.
I have one great big cat that meows loudly and insistently, whenever she wants us to do her bidding. Those meows sound like complaints, as if we do not treat her well. I have another cat whose meows are not exactly complaints, but they sound very urgent, but we often cannot figure out what she wants us to do.
We are now convinced when Raz does his talking routine it's about Ham.
'I would like some ham' 'Is that ham you're eating?' 'Could we please have some ham in this house!'. That's the dialogue - we're pretty sure anyway.
