Yank is a polite term. The rhyming slang of Seppo is more derogatory and of course is from "septic tank & contents". Yank means anyone carrying an American passport or greencard.

@FrayedBear The English language is different all over. British English, Australian English, and US English all have different terms that the others don't usually use. It's like Mexican Spanish and Spain Spanish. Interesting. Never did hear the term Seppo before. In American English cunt is the most foul word, but in the UK it's not really bad. Someone would say something "he's a jolly old cunt". But here you'd say something like fuck that cunt.

I do not need to choose any source for which there is a wide variety of other sources that claim RT deserves no credibility. RT has only the agenda of Putin's propaganda. I'm not claiming RT never gets any story correct, I'm claiming there is plenty of reason to doubt whatever they are saying.
