How's this for pure hell... an Atheist with Asperger's Syndrome! A person driven by analytical thought, that can only see black or white - no shades of grey at all. I perpetually try to find a life partner that will love me for my faults as well as my strengths - that will not take advantage of the my constant naivete. That's my personal hell.
Was Darwin correct? Will I endure and succeed, or will Nature put me down as an evolutionary accident? I welcome your suggestions. Thanks.

I can be a real asshole. I have tried for years to overcome this and have gotten to the point where the people I now know do not believe me when I tell them how I used to be. I find being nice to people even if they are real bad assholes can do much to get you places. If I get into a situation where I would have once come unglued I now try to see the world from their point of view and make comments that do not upset them. By giving them an authentic act of kindness one can get through a situation with respect and people learning that you are a good person, which you are. I do not mean to try and manipulate people as this often backfires. One has to practice and try to become a friend of the person you are talking too. Just because you can allow them to like you does not mean that you are their friend. I an talking about getting through a large group of people and feeling good about it. One never knows where a good friend or a person that will help you get to where you want to go will come from or when they will arrive.

What we are given is one thing ; and exceptance of the
facts will help bolster SUCCESS .
Choosing to be Athiest- shows your intelligence and your
a free thinker !! Asperger's comes in a SPECTRUM::: which means you could have some ; a few ; little or many facets
to influence your make up. So do the research:::it helps.
We can LESSEN or minimize the impact of traits we recieve at birth ; My nephew was diagnosed ; he leads a normal life . National Institute Of Health is a good resource,
which I have used. Don't be overwhelmed. I recently learned
that I have traits that = a cognitive disorder also; You are young ;no one has a "perfect personality"- we all hope to improve and grow.

You look angry and grumpy in your photo. Is that the image you want to portray?

This is your life, not a rehearsal. Volunteer. Get exercise. Walk outdoors. Join activities. Make friends. This will immeasurably improve your life.

Today during breakfast in an assisted living facility, an elderly couple walked in smiling at someone behind me. Their smiles lit up their faces. It was a joy to see.

I know it's a dreary photo, I'll fix that soon. Thank you for your kind words.

Nature doesn’t care. It’s up to you. Never give up.
