Do you find that the stronger you become (as you are older and less accommodating) that people leave? Not just in a relationship but people who were friends.
Pretty much. People go different ways.
We grow, we change, as does our priorities and tolerances.
I see it as similar to each time you move, you fine tune your bellongings, and rid yourself of those no longer used , needed, or appreciated .
So as time goes, in each abode, the things you've kept all that time are the best for you - the ones you really have grown to love !
People leave me, I leave some people. Those that are left are the ones that were meant to be my true people, for who I am now !
Definitely. I have defriended piles of white evangelicals on Facebook who wouldn't stop posting hate memes, and blocked dozens of people on this site who mocked and trolled others..mostly males. I no longer feel like putting up with endless hassles from rude people.
all the ones I blocked were men who were really hassling me - honestly Moi-meme?
I keep few friends, they are aware of my 'ways' and my search for higher consciousness...so I'd have to say, I get rid of them, not the other way around.
No real friends should remain friends. I did lose a good friend to her obsession with her Catholic Church though.
Naw..I dumped most of my white evangelical friends after they started posting hate memes attacking minorities during the 2016 election. It was great to free up my Facebook page. But I also block a lot of rude trolls on this website also.
sorry to hear that - report them to admn.
