My first priority is to get rid of Trump by any means necessary. The Logical and nonviolent way of doing that is to elect a Democrat in his place.

I think most dems just want trump out. As evidenced by their willingness to let anyone into the party.

The Democratic Party is too diverse for a singular answer.. And, what’s a Democrat? FDR, JFK, LBJ, HRC..?

What’s happening now is the toughest of our political fighting; without Parliamentary negotiates with associated factions, our winner-take-all system gives us this one, if extended moment to battle it out.

Those wanting ‘progress now’ are less mature or aware than those wanting a ‘candidate that can beat trump.’ Most ‘Democrats’ want said progress … many having fought for it their entire adult lives … but too aware of what they’re up against in the other party..

So, as political veterans and so-call moderates seek a candidate that doesn't scare off ‘those in the middle,’ the so-called Independants, often the least engaged or informed … political purists are demanding everything now!

We need far more than a Democrat President, we need a ‘Democrat’ Congress and Supreme Court. Till then … there’s no such thing as ‘Now.’

A democrats ideal is to vote a Democrat in with substantial majorities in the house and Senate. Unfortunatly the democrats can't fucking decide what a Democrat really is.

Trump out- republicans ground to a fine mush-. Personally, I would have preferred a revolution with barricades and guillotines ( the French model), but one cannot have everything.

Anti trump Americans want different things depending on which tribe they belong to. Tribalism will re elect trump.

Either one...For me, getting Trump out is the goal. I’m a registered Democrat, but I’d love to have Bernie. I’ll vote for Bernie if he gets the nomination. If he doesn’t though, I’ll vote blue.

My sense of it is that a majority of Democrats just want Trump out. And then there’s a sizable minority who specifically want Bernie in. I haven’t heard anybody say “If Biden (Warren, Buttigieg, etc.) isn’t the nominee, I won’t vote.” It’s mostly the “Blue-No-Matter-Who” crowd and the “Bernie-or-Bust” crowd, it seems to me. But I don’t know what the polls say - it’s just my opinion.
