Hes been in office forever, he knows how to play the game. His inconsistency is a response to changing times and needs. Just like all the other people who have their favorite candidate, biden fans think their candidate is a great guy who will do all sorts of great things, once xyz (likely impossible) stuff happens and hes free from being dragged down by his fellow politicians. He is selling a fantasy, just like all the rest of the presidential wanna bes. A video of reality isnt relevant

Heres the thing I don`t get as a brit. I see lots of Bernie and Trump fans on the internet but no real Biden fans. Yet it looks like he will be the nominee

@273kelvin yeah, Biden's support is that everyone thinks everyone else will vote for him as a safe, non narcesistically insane, non radical reshapping of American economic society with fuzzy numbers canidate in the general.
It's like a self fufilling prophecy. Be kinda nice, though, to have a president only a small majority hate instead of the vast majority. It been awhile. To bad about the cognitive decline.

@273kelvin I respect Sanders and his platform, however what makes me lean Biden is the realization that Medicare for All has very little chance of getting through congress. We talk about Sanders and Biden, but nothing happens with McConnell in power in the Senate. The light is starting to shine on the tax structure for the middle class with Medicare for All and it isn't looking appetizing to me. Obamacare, although flawed, can be improved upon with both parties working to enhance it.
