I think I have to stay away from Facebook this weekend. It's that time where 9,000 people post "He is risen!" And everyone responds with "He is risen indeed." I can usually ignore it, but today it's just too easy. How many people do you suppose I will offend if I reply with "April Fools!!" Yeah, probably best if I just stay away. Lol

I only sign into "Faithbook" to argue with theists anyway....so this weekend should be entertaining. Easter being on April Fools Day....anyone want to guess the number of times I'll get threatened with eternal torture and suffering in hell this weekend?

I get the feeling we shouldn't encourage you. Lol

HA! Trust me, no encouragement needed.

For the record, I do just scroll past or wish them a hoppy Easter...but the struggle is real today. Lol

Lol, that would be my response if I were still on FB!

LMAO!

I was able to alienate most of my extended family, cousins and such. I asked easy questions like. Was it viagra that made him rise.? Not funny at all to evangelicals.

Doesn't bother me much. Generally I ignore it. It's like the "Post if you think......." posts. I never repost them.

Ha ha I see what you mean. Back in the day when I was a Christian I lost most of my non religious friends because of religious post. I never understood how annoying it was. One of my friend said to me, dude your post are insulting everyone. Stop it. It's been a 6 years journey looking for Jesus and God only to find out that religion is the main system that controls almost everybody including non believers. What a shock, and new testament is about heavenly bodies like planets not a real man. Lost almost 43 years of my life rolling all that crap. Now my Facebook profile has more non religious friends compared to religious people as they deleting me. Basical it's more like my POST are about fraud of religion and how the world is in chaos. Yeah the he's risen posts everywhere and my responce is the non existent of the risen saviour

LOL! I already defriended most of my white evangelical Facebook friends, so I doubt I'll get much of that. Depending on who it is, I may or may not comment on any posts showing religious devotion. If someone does, I usually point out that since 85% of white evangelicals voted for Trump, I blame THEM for all the stupid, evil things their sexual predator president is doing, and the school shootings, since they also voted GOP.

On my fb page, people posts pictures of the food they cooked or their new easter clothes. What does that have to do with he is risen. Such hypocrisy. Glad to be an agnostic.

It's easy for me to ignore the FB noise, there's a lot of it there even if it isn't Easter. I don't try to provoke anyone, although I do seem to do it by accident anyway. And I always wondered why egg nothing isn't an Easter tradition. You're only allowed one kind of egg each holiday?

I nearly threw up

Just post that Osiris has risen. He has risen indeed. Come back later with Dionysus has risen. He has risen indeed. And so on.

He is risen...is that why people find him on toast?
