@MizJ Can you imagine being born into immense wealth with unlimited opportunity and squandering it all on self aggrandizement instead of pursuing higher education and knowledge of how the world works. He would have had all the legitimant praise in the world if he had thought about his fellow man with just a little of his time and possibilities. But instead he went off in a direction of immediate gratification and persuits of the flesh( not that Im knocking a little flesh persuit once in a while) and has led a life completely devoid of meaning or substance

The "reason" for this pandemic is that it is zoonotic (it crossed from an animal into a human) and that humans have no immunity. < Mic drop >

@MizJ By the way, we in Scotland have many socially dumb people as well. They are terrified and are purchasing as much toilet roll as possible and mix in large numbers down the pub. So our governments are being forced to act.

After 911 the government had sweeping powers in re to surveillance, etc. That power was abused. We need to pay attention.
