If I order form Amazon, for the rest of year, I will always choose the slow "free shipping" option so any possible virus from warehouse workers will die in transit.

That's brilliant, buddy. I decided to put my car in order two weeks ago. I ordered many little things in different stores: pillows with a logo, a phone holder, a keychain, a fragrance, and an LED strip. The LED strip came on the same day [vont.com]
At first, I was happy, but after reading your post, I'm not so happy anymore. Lol, there is a threat of getting infected. I waited about a week for the rest of the goods. Thanks to the lazy Amazon workers. By the way, the keychain has not yet arrived recently. They have been working even slower, but now I know this has advantages. LMAO

Lmao, that's so good a lifehack, I would never have thought of it. I think it makes sense. There's a monkeypox epidemic in the world right now, and it would be nice to be safe this way. I always choose free shipping too, but only because it's free and I don't have to overpay for the product. Three weeks ago, I ordered [amazon.com], and just yesterday, I received my package. I was lucky that it was undamaged and well packaged(thanks, seller), so I am confident in the product's sterility, haha.

Might wanna let it sit outside for 3 days to be sure.

I figure free shipping will take at last three days inh transit. Of course there are the delivery drivers to consider too, I guess.

Buy "Amazon Prime" and save lives!!!!! genius!

Yeah, but what about the delivery person?

i don't know about all types of delivery drivers but it sounds like UPS drivers are doing everything right. hardly any contact with other people, lots of wiping things down, gloves gloves gloves...

Most of the time they just put the package on the front porch, ring ht edoorbell and run back to the truck... and that started way before the pandemic.

@MarkiusMahamius ummm, they touched not only your package, but a hundred others during their shift... which were touched by others. The virus lives on hard surfaces at least 36 hours, on cardboard even longer. Bring your package in with glovesd hands & set it aside a few days, or spray heavily with Lysol!
