We only need to block the ‘droplets’ from entering our nose or mouth! If it is warn out in public once, spray with alcohol when you get home. Or, wash with soup and water! I wash my AC filters, so anything can be washed. I am making cotton filters at the moment, and they will be able to be washed for as many times as the elastic will hold up!
If we had started wearing masks sooner maybe some of the people who didn’t know they were sick and spreading the virus, might have limited the spread. The only reason we are being told not to to wear masks, is because there aren’t enough masks to go around. If you wait until you know you are sick to start wearing a mask, it is already too late. I would wear a mask if I had one...but they are harder to find than TP right now. Make your own if you can. And remember that if the idiot President says one month, plan on 3 or 4.

No, but it can block the droplets which contain and propagate the virus.

An N95 FFR is a type of respirator which removes particles from the air that are breathed through it. These respirators filter out at least 95% of very small (0.3 micron) particles. N95 FFRs are capable of filtering out all types of particles, including bacteria and viruses.
At this point I'm not into masks. Trump wants to end this thing by Easter and he doesn't know that you cannot tell the virus what to do. It tells you. Beyond this I'm not finding many people who know much of anything about this. Is it just another "flu varient" or is it much worse? Who knows? I've read a report that says it could flatten out in the next 2 months and also claims it could take over a year.

Just for starters...a Scientist from Europe (I forgot the country/ and his name, sorry), broke down what happens in the lungs of people who are taking drugs for hypertension...if they get this virus. Their lungs will stop working and the person dies, as simple as that! This is very serious!
