Well, it seems that either the local Je-Ho movement is obeying the Social Distancing/Isolation UNLESS going out for Necessities Rules or have simply realized that the Mighty, Magical, Invisible, Imaginary Jehovah has abandoned them.
Went on my usually bus journey yesterday to get my fortnightly groceries, we went past the usual and regular place where the Je-Ho's stand and TRY to hand out their bullshit and the place was EMPTY and vacant of them.
Not a Je-Ho within a Bull's roar, I felt like rousing a great Cheer of Joy.
The JWs with whom I am friends (THAT is a story in itself, but unimportant here,) tell me that although they miss the fellowship of Meeting, they will humbly comply with any directives regarding public health.
The 'JW' acronym is well-used around here. IMHO, name-calling is an offense against critical thinking :
What about "god botherers"? That is a fairly common epithet here in aussie but we apply it to all of them.
@Cyklone I would assert that critical thinking and (ANY) logical fallacies don't mix !
@Triphid, @FearlessFly I'm not too sure how an epithet becomes a logical fallacy. They're often more accurate than politically correct speech. Like godbotherer for instance.
