So, what does everyone do on religious holidays?
I celebrate the ones I like for their own sake -- like Christmas (which was stolen anyway), and ignore the ones I don't -- like Easter.
Whatever one usually does on a day off. For me, that means going birding.
Family and dinner... tonight the topic of is there a God came up between my agnostic son and my 93year old cousins GF, I stayed out of it because nothing good could come from anything I could have added, I had two scotches and a Guinness!
I have never had scotch before!
@BlakeA I like it now that I’m an old bastard... red label is crap, blue is too expensive, this is the sweet spot, cheers
I might get me some soon. Cheers to you as well!
They were never religious holidays for me. We did have holiday dinners with relatives when I was a kid.
Today I took a long walk in the rain with my dog and did household chores. Later I will go on another dog walk with a neighbor and his dog. Catch up on Westworld. Nothing special.
I planted peas and froze my fingers. I acted as my main role of door opener to the chihuahuas and tried to keep the chaos in the house to a minimum.
I hang out with my agnostic parents, give my son candy and a couple of little gifties, hide plastic eggs with candy and change in them for him to hunt down, and tell him we're celebrating Spring.
I roll my eyes a lot and eat pizza.
