Trump said he was going to look into it after the Acting Secretary visited the ship and delivered a shocking attack on the sick Captain and his crew. Remove the bastard!!! Never! He left because Trump threw him under the bus when the military called him out for being an ass and disrespectful of an honorable commander. Like all the other Trump military advisers, he debased himself by following his commander in chiefs orders, then was made to walk the plank.

I thought trump was pleased as punch with the Acting Secretary of the Navy's remarks about the Captain. when the shit hit the fan, the crew stood up for their fired captain, the secretary's stance proved SOOO unpopular and then the cardinal sin of admitting he was wrong and resigning of COURSE trump would want the man gone.
The pathology of trump's narcissism is now on display 24/7.
