Just the fact that they generally contain no valid, let alone valuable information should be reason alone for not broadcasting them. All the regular media outlets should just nominate one reporter to sit in the briefing room, rotate them everyday. Any useful information he or one of his lackeys puts out could then be shared across all media outlets.
