What if you could eat only one food for the rest of life? , what food would you choose and why?

Since beer is taken, I will go with quinoa flour flat bread.

Impossible - I crave variety in all things. 😉

Beer. Liquid bread. =0}

Ok why?

@Victoria100 Because bread can stave off starvation. Just ask Kit Carson who fed the "relocated" starving Indians with flour & water, hence "Indian flat bread". Today it is a curse with obesity on the rezzzz taking lives too early but it saved a people. Beer is safe to drink when water isn't due to its alcohol content. Beer can flush an infected system, acting as a diuretic. Beer is used to flush the kidneys when infected. Beer reduces heart attacks & strokes. Beer is ancient, originating in Iran 5,000 BC. The 1st recipe on papyrus. Beer gives a nice buzz. Beer is universal. Beer as payment. Beer is proof the god's love us & want us to be happy, to paraphrase Benjamin Franklin a founding father.

@Mooolah your answer is almost perfect. The tiniest quibble is the 5,000 bc. More likely 3,000 bc and 5,000 years ago. At least the written recipe is that age. But again only a cosmetic quibble.

Veggie pizza

Ok why?

@Victoria100 because it tastes good and is healthy...

Supposedly potatoes are the only food that is almost nutritionally complete. They are not complete enough though to sustain you forever. That means I will instead select Strawberry cheesecake and just get fat and smile until the end.

Sounds like a great idea lorajay

Sweet potatoes are better 😊

I want to join you, @Lorajay! <3

I have a tough time eating anything more than 2 days in a row, so that's going to be a hard pass for me.

Ok

THAI Food, any Curry. I love it, and it feels healthy.

Are you sure about that?

Potato--baked, roasted, french fried, mashed, wedged, diced, shredded

Oh lovely

I'll have to go with porterhouse steaks (seasoned in different ways) because I like them and they will do the least damage to me of the other things I like: cheesecake, apple pie, chocolate, BBQ beef ribs and lasagna. Great question by the way.

Wow that's way more than one lol,nice

@Victoria100 nope, just one because it does less damage than the others I listed 😁

3

Pizza, because you can have anything you want on it.

1

Fish, but I probably wouldn’t live long without fruits and vegetables.

Oops sorry dear

@Victoria100 I’m changing it to Irish stew made with lots of carrots, potatoes, onions, broccoli, etc. You didn’t say anything about drink so I’m assuming I can drink all the fruit juice and wine I want. Oh, and BTW, Irish whiskey!

@WilliamFleming sounds like fun

@Victoria100 I’m changing it yet again to Chinese restaurant food. Stew might get old.

I fixed my own filet mignons for two weeks and grew tired of them. I went back to 2 or 3 times a year.

That's a great idea

2

Real butter popcorn!

How come you know

I couldn't pick one.
