Ha, ha, ha, ha. As @barjoe said below, National Conventions aren't as as attractive to cities as they might once have been.

Additional: I also saw a speculation somewhere else that this might just be another grift. They were saying -- wait for it, tRump will book it at one of his hotels so he'll be able to charge for it.😋

That could be the case for the Democratic National Convention as well. The logistics could make it so a host city wouldn't be able to take on a major convention for either party.

@Gatovicolo The DNC has larger delegation so it would be even more challenging than GOP.
