These lists are Always bogus!

You think Biden might choose someone not even in the list although he has repeatedly said he would choose a black woman? How probable is it that he would bring a less known face to the national ticket?

@St-Sinner ummmm, there are only 4-5 black women to choose from? I can think 9f 4 or 5 more Easily just sitting here.....

@AnneWimsey Agreed and it is probable but I have hardly seen the top of the ticket picking someone very surprising as the VP choice in the last 35 years. Sarah Palin was being hinted at but it was a surprise choice by McCain to most.

I think the presidential campaigns give hints before the choosing to set the supporters expectations.

@St-Sinner Sarah Palin???? Stupid choice of a stupid woman, hopefully we will do better....Biden has been around enough to really know people in this area & his platform was compiled with input from Bernie people. A refreshing contrast to the "I know everything/nothing" fool in the WH now

Which one is white?
Susan Rice would be great. Elizabeth Warren better..

Biden said he would elect a black woman VP candidate. There is nothing white about it.

@St-Sinner A black woman WOULD seem logical, hopefully not a mistake...how about Hillary, Warren, or my favorite, Megan Fox?
What's wrong with Obama? He's rested, and ready.

Since the VP will quickly become POTUS, I would prefer Tulsi Gabbard.

Kamala Harris, please. 🙂

I'm hoping for Tammy Duckworth

Rice has the most foreign policy experience and is respected globally. We are going to need all the help we can muster to regain the respect we've lost.

In elections, I believe expertise does not matter as much as electability addition to the ticket and fund raising abilities. She has neither.

BTW,
Kamala Harris is neither African descent not black.

Her father is an African, isn't he?

@AravindAjith
Many Caribbean black residents, were not brought as slaves I believe by the Spanish but as laborers (on low wages) to work on tea plantations. The British did that to all of its colonies including India, Sri Lanka etc. No one calls Indians settled in the Caribbean Islands as slaves although all are not mixed with the local races and have never gone back to homelands in 200 to 250 years. Mixing of Indian and African origin races in the Caribbean islands is common. Although the French brought many African slaves in Haiti.

Not to forget this controversy:

. . . what, a journalist that can't count to (and stop) four ? 🙂

You just mentioned 5. I think he backed himself in a corner during the debates committing to picking a woman. I think he should pick the one with the least negatives who can make an ass out of Mike Pence in a debate. That would be fun to watch Pence getting undressed by a black woman

That’s as good a criteria as any I’ve heard!
