It already has in so far as product sales at any cost, regardless of the ecological impact. The major players have so much psychological power due to A1 and put profit over people.
@girlwithsmiles I'm not talking about narrow examples of machine "Intelligent Agents". I'm talking about the big picture when the nexus of AGI (Artificial General Intelligence) and WBE (Whole Brian Emulation) occurs. Current predictions have both of these technologies maturing around the same time in 2050 -2060. See the link to supportive data.
There have been articles about this, I’ll try and find one and condense the points for you tomorrow.
