Food for thought?

Did you know that we share 50% of our DNA with a banana?

Fill in your answer here:

That kind of puts a whole new spin on the term 'driving me bananas"

DNA doesn't monkey around.

Yea, bananas are from another planet... not sure which one exactly. Heard that before though.

Rubbish!

Bananas are from the supermarket.

All life shares at least some DNA with all other life.

For one thing, all life has the DNA necessary for the mechanisms which set up the Krebs cycle.

Don’t plant have like ten times the amount of DNA compared to animals? If this is true, I’m not surprised there is overlap.

Is that why they call those skimpy male swimsuits banana hammocks? I don't find them appealing, personally.

Yes I do believe it, Aron Ra is an expert in how life all connects, You should watch his YouTube videos where he talks about the evolution of life and how everything is connected. It is very educational and it you want a laugh watch his debate with Hovind.

Do not stop there. Anything else we share 50 percent with?

How about mushrooms, 67% and fruit flies, 36%. Makes me feel bad, every time I see one of those tiny flies around my bananas, I try to smack it with a newspaper.

Oh, thanks! 😟 Now, every time I start to peel a banana, I will have to pause when that comes to mind. Uncle Ernie, is that you? 😉
