Fortune or foresight? AstraZeneca and Oxford's stories clash on COVID-19 vaccine
I'm not expecting too much going on with this until early February.
That’s not the one that’s been approved for use in the UK so far, it’s the second in line.
I believe Oxford AstraZeneca were pressured by the data and timeline set by Pfizer and Moderna. When they complete revised trials, the vaccine and it's efficacy will be fine. The temperature stability and price advantage will make it a viable choice for many parts of the world. Morons on the right have made global a dirty word, but herd immunity must be met globally not just in United States. Just my opinion but Big Pharma may not be supportive of the non profit Oxford vaccine.
