Just had a very interesting call from a long-time friend who runs a Grazing Property some 180 kilometres N.E. of where I live.
His wife and himself have employed for over 3 years 2 young women as Station hands (colloquially known as Jillaroos) around the property.
Yesterday afternoon while the 2 young women were out checking the Boundary fences, one of them was attacked by a man who stopped her to ask for directions.
He attempted to rape her but the young woman fought back with the only thing she could find close to a hand, her snake wire ( a length of doubled over barbed wire about 8' feet in length attached to a hard wood handle).
According to the report and the 'bits' of evidence found on her 'snake wire', Ginge, as is her nick-name, drove off her would-be rapist with consummate 'skill' and dexterity, leaving the rapist with probable tearing to the face, the upper arms, legs, body and some very painful damages to his genitals.
Police in the area are now searching for a blue older model Toyota vehicle being driven by a man in his early 20's who will definitely be looking for in need of medical attention.
Ginge is relatively okay, though still a bit shaken, and rightly so imo, bit intends to return to her job tomorrow.
Personally speaking here, I hope the Scumbag would-be rapist crawls away, hides in some remote hidden place, gets massive infections as well as Tetanus and dies slowly and painfully, and Ginge gets awarded a Medal for ridding the world of another piece of stinking, rotten garbage.

Good on Ginge!

I hope the rat bastard dies of blood poisoning.
AFTER his dick falls off.

I hope she heals emotionally as well as physically I hope they catch the bastard.

Well by all accounts Ginge will be 'back on deck' tomorrow.
Trust me when I say both Ginge and Jo-Jo are TOUGH.
Personal anecdote here,
The first time I ever met them and worked alongside them, we were digging post-holes using a crow-bar, shovels and picks in a paddock used to keep the rams away from the ewes.
The meanest, nastiest of the rams decided to charge at Ginge, we shouted a warning to her but instead she stood firm, held her ground and landed a full on, closed fist punch to the head of the ram, knocking it off its feet and senseless to the ground.
She then shrugged her shoulders, picked up the stunned ram and tossed into the back of the utility saying, " I hope you wake up with the biggest headache possible you mean bastard," then picked up a shovel and kept on working.
I've often seen the toughest of the tough Jackaroos turn and run like the wind when a ram charges because those buggers can really do some damage when they ram a person.

Sick! So glad she was able to fight him off, & do some good damage as well!!! I agree....massive infections would be good. I am so sick of always having to watch our backs no matter where we are, or what we do!!!!!

This proves what I've always said; never attack a woman armed with 8' of barbed wire. Good on Ginge!

Also never, ever attack our Jillaroos, even though Ginge, ( Fiona stands at about 5'2" in bare feet) and Jo-Jo ( Jodie is about 5'4"in bare feet) they ARE as tough as nails, can pick up a fully grown sheep with ease.
I've met them both, know them quite well, worked alongside them, they are a pair of hard workers, great people, have the typical Aussie outback sense of humour, can be 100% 'feminine' off the job but on the job are easily equal to any bloke and often even better imo.

So glad she fought him off and injured him badly. It makes me sick that predators think they have a right to take what they want from a woman. I too hope he dies a slow miserable death.

From your lips to God's ears.

That attack happened yesterday afternoon ( Tuesday here), a snake wire is usually dirt and rust encrusted with bits of the snakes killed left on it until they rot and fall off.
So I'd say that it has been used quite recently BEFORE the attack as well, so Scumbag is at least a 100% dead certainty to get some very nasty infections at the very least.
