I recently bought a gas only engine car, a 2017 Ford Fusion, only because it was owned by a friend's deceased partner and was a low mileage great buy. I had planned on buying my first hybrid car. I will drive this until it reaches 150 K miles, which would be another 133K, or, more likely until 2030. Next time I buy it will either be a hybrid or an electric, depending on the price by then and the availability of charging stations, since I live in a condo apartment with no plug in option.

Carbon neutral electrical energy will be unachievable in the foreseeable future without Nuclear power plants.

I will never own an EV. I predict by then there will be technology that surpasses electric vehicles.
