It makes sense to me. I am not current on all the latest climate specifics, but I think politicians bank on people's ignorance. Once you get into the details, questions can't be answered. Never heard about the situation in Germany. So it sounds like it's using more coal and less nuclear in response to Greens ideas even though coal is worse for environment? It doesn't seem like a plan that is working well. The hype surrounding environment degradation and reality need to be brought into clearer focus. I remember learning about one specific pesticide that had been banned under Obama then it was allowed back in under Trump. I didn't agree with every Trump stance and this is one where it was a big no. Some of this should fall outside even presidential power to regulate.
