I’d like to know how he managed to get hold of him. I had a 16 lb Tom cat, and if he was riled, you couldn’t hold him long, a 30 lb feral beast....no thanks

I'm glad he released it.

Personally, though we should be able to protect our animals from predators, I do not think we should be allowed to kill them. It's natural to do what is necessary to survive, theirs as well as ours. Killing them for trying to feed themselves is unethical IMO. There are other ways to deal with predators.

It’s what animals do. They hunt. That’s how they eat and survive.
