An erroneous comment I overheard yesterday whilst awaiting my usual Sunday Lunch Take-away of a Hamburger with salad and grilled onion.
2 guys entered the shop in suits and ties, they started discussing what the Sermon they heard at Church was all about, when one of them said, " You do realize that the Pastor was 100% correct when he stated that there no people so superstitious as those who are Godless people."
Thankfully my lunch was ready and my name was called out, because IF I had to stay thee any longer the chances of my peeing my pants out of sheer and unadulterated raucous laughter would have been almost overwhelming.

I wonder what their reaction would have been if their number was called out and it was 666?

Oh how often I wish that it would in such situations...LOL.

@Triphid I had a friend and neighbour who got a backdated sickness benefit cheque for £666. The problem came because she was suffering from paranoid schizophrenia. She phoned them up pleading to change the amount (even if it was a bit less) or at least make it 2 cheques. Btw she was a god believer too although not a churchgoer.

I'd have laughed my ass off too.

Delusional as usual

The person who said that is a perfect example of a weak minded person.

My blood would be boiling overhearing that conversation. I wouldn't have been able to think of a comment to make if given the chance.

I may have arrived at a 'come-back' comment except I was too busy shaking my head in dis-belief AND not wishing to spoil my lunch also.

Jaysus, the guys have a very weak sense of what superstition is. Leave them be. No point arguing with them.

Yes, there is NO cure or Remedy for Stupidity.

Superstition-_- " believing in things u DO NOT UNDERSTAND" and this is endemic in any religion.
Leaving those people to thier ignorance is an
action necessary to perserve your SANITY.
I occasionally witness such ○ , but prefer truth
and facts to underpin my life.
Thanks

Lol, I hear ya.
About what they said. First of all, no pastor is 100% right about anything, because they won't say they're wrong or mistaken about anything. Second, all godless people aren't superstitious, I know that because I'm not.
It sounds like you have to overhear some of the same conversations as I do where I live.

ONLY IF the Pastor is a Woman, since we all know that even when a woman is wrong she IS always right.....LOL.

@Triphid ain’t it the truth😉

@Triphid lol! Exactly!!! I didn't think about that. I stand corrected.
