Over 1 billion people who identify as non religious agnostic atheist or secular on the planet now. Christianity is just over 2 billion and Islam is just under 2 billion people. We've a long way to go but we're getting there

I can't help but think that the political activism of churches has something to do this phenomenon.

Yes, it's been found that as churches become more fascist there are fewer young people saying they believe.

@Theresa_N I feel this could be a solid reason. I would be upset if my church went from a place dedicated to religion and community to one dedicated to voting for Republicans.
