So. How many of you are fans of The Walking Dead? I just got back from my bestie/sister-in-law, Vickie's where we watched The Walking Dead, Fear of the Walking Dead, AND Talking Dead. She absolutely LOVES those programs. I am so far behind. I'm still on season 4. I'm not a major fan, but I love how much she enjoys it.

I still watch the original series, but never got into "Fear..." Just about the time I get disgusted and decide I'll stop watching, the next episode drags me back in.

Huge and loyal fan of the series and last night's episode was the best of the entire series IMO.

Additionally I've met most of the cast at comicons and such.

@DesertRecluse

Forgot these too.

Envy!

I've been a fan since the beginning. I've missed the last couple of seasons of FTWD and am not caught up on TWD because I'm not paying for TV anymore (just HBO, LOL!), so I'll have to catch up later. I agree with @Carla78 who points out that the show deviates some from the comix (I've never read the books, just know the show is based off them). I think Carol also and Darrell also were killed off in the books. I think it's a great show and whether you are into zombies or not, the way they mix the real monster-terror of the zombies into the real human drama of the characters is a true success cocktail. As an aside, I'll say the show is far better than the attraction at Universal Studios, Hollywood, which is very cheesy. LOL!

Actually there was no Darrell in the comics. Not at all.

@Carla78 Ah, I didn't know that. I thought he was and was kept on the show because he's such a fan fav. Thanks for the correction. =]

I watched the first few seasons. Started Season 1 hiding under blankets with all the lights on, by the end of the season, the lights were off and wasn't bothered. 😉
I think it's awesome that you support your friend and encourage her enjoyment of the show. 🙂

I love them in binges lol

The show isn't bad but I preferred the comics. For one thing, Carl didn't die! I didn't watch last night but I knew what happened to Negan in the comic. However, the show strays from the story, which really throws me off!

Huge fan..I sooo wanted to see Maggie collapse Negans skull...The season opening to FTWD was awesome.....
I been watching TWD/FTWD since premieres.

Walking Dead, Vikings and Forged in Fire are the only things on TV that I follow with any regularity. The Rick Grimes character arc is really intriguing. I'll watch the pilot frequently just to touch base with the roots and seek inconsistancies. I see parallels between his Colt Python and Excalibur.

I'm totally addicted to Vikings!

I love Walking Dead and Talking Dead. I am getting more interested in Fear, now that Morgan is going to it. I watched all 3 and i also record them all, every week, just in case.

A friend got me into the show and I'm all caught up on it. My interest in it is to see what happens to the people. That is the story for me. I don't give a damn about a zombie one way or the other. You might say I wonder on how we would get along and survive if some apocalypse did happen. There should be enough cars, gasoline, and food to last a mighty long time if scouted for in any reasonable way. In this shjow they are often prevented form doing so by the zombies.

I was hooked on it for awhile but after Negan appeared I lost interest in it. It seemed to me it was getting too repetitious in storylines, same old, same old.

3

My interest comes and goes with this show. I think it's decent but sometimes it just feels like they're stretching out a plot way too long.

Agreed! Negan shouldn't have been stretched into two seasons. I won't give too much away but I keep waiting for the talking zombies to appear.

And you're expecting to sleep ?

No thanks on, "The Walking Dead."

I was going to watch it with my wife, but we were tired from work all week and the 3 young sons we have. I'll watch it tomorow. Can't wait

Thats my alltime fave. How did you feel about the orchestrated crossover

Actually I won't see the finale until tonight. I use Kodi third party aps to watch all of this without commercials and it's a day late that way.

Well, I haven't really invested any time in Fear the Walking Dead, so I don't really have an opinion on the crossover.
