Maybe. I'm not working out right now and I'm a 250 lb. Covid-19 survivor.

Yes...being "homebound" has made snacking far too easy and working out far too challenging. Many of us have succumbed to weight gain.

You have misrepresented the claim he made.

And what exactly is it that you think he nailed? Please provide supporting evidence if you rely on any factual claims.

Here's a GIF of the growing obesity in America. It is becoming an epidemic. The source is the CDC. Here's the article, from "Slate".

@Robecology Again, you've attributed a claim to Maher that he did not make and which is not true. Your Slate article is 8 years old and pre-covid. Therefore, it's still unclear about what you think Maher "nailed".

Sorry, link does not go there.

Maher's frequent emphasis on the broader health issue, obesity poor diets etc, is something I very much like him for. He's right.

Couldn't find anything related to your comment in this link. Might have missed it. I believe 78% of hospitalizations were obese [cnbc.com] What is your point??

Thanks for bringing this up...it was an error on my part.

@Robecology Oh! Bill Maher! 😃
