Today is a rare day for me. I'm a very happy go lucky guy, but today I'm not entertained by people.
Do you ever have a day that you just need to go home after work and listen to music and shut out everything?
I do. It's called Monday Wednesday Thursday Friday sometime Saturday usually Sunday oh always Tuesday.
Every day! Needing "alone time" is completely normal. I have a student who lives in a house with 12 people: parents and siblings, a grandparent, a grown sister with her kids, and a cousin. She never has a moment alone, and that's the way she likes it. I can't even imagine it! I love my job and my students, but by the end of a school day (and an after school program I do) I can't wait to get home to an empty house.
I decompress with Clint Eastwood and a spaghetti western or two. But tonight, after class, I have 3 movies I picked up at the library. I can't even remember what they are and I've seen one of them before. How's that for needing to veggitate
I think most do at some time. A good freind (annoyed by theists/republicans) occasinoally expresses being "fed up" with people.
Often. Music is the great soother for me. Most of those types of days end with Bowie. What is your music of choice?
David Bowie is always good!
@balou Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust pretty much eases anything.
Starset. If your not familiar with them please look them up.
Depending on my mood, a lot of old 80's rock ballads. Now I'm listening to hemi-sync when I drive to calm my nerves with road ragers on the highways... it balances the brain waves and helps me to focus better.
I am a manager. So hell yea I'm tired, need a brewski and a joint after work.
