We need him t come back.

The creator/author stopped because he didn't think he coudl keep up the high quality of the comic. He still comes out with a book once in a while.

I loved the one where they are in bed at night, and Calvin asks. "What is the purpose of life ? I mean why do humans even exist ?"
And Hobbs replies. "Tiger food." Then switches the light out.

I bought several bound collections of Calvin and Hobbes stories; read and enjoy them every 3 or 4 years.
