What is one current piece of slang or an expression that you wish would never be used/spoken again?

Makes me feel stabby.

OMG can you imagine your mother in law saying that to you about losing her husband, son (my husband) within 4 months of each other? Yes this really happened and it made me stabby AF.

@Qualia How awful!!

I will hit the ground running and get the ball rolling by thinking outside the box. It is above my pay grade to move the goalpost, but I will get my managers blessing to put all hands on deck, creating a win-win situation which will keep me from being thrown under the bus.

That's awesome!

"Git er' done" and "thoughts and prayers" are equally cringe worthy.

Everything happens for a reason.
They're in a better place now.
Christianity isn't a religion, it's a personal relationship with Christ.
Man up!/Just get over it!/Stop being a pussy!
Myserious Ways!
God healed my.... (insert ailment here) after recieving expert medical care.
Using the word "Like" five times per sentence.
My star sign is... what's yours?
We're in retrograde!
It's true to me. I believe it!
Vaccines are bad for you!
Prayer works!

After my brother died, a person I had just met said to me: well, at least he’s in a better place now.
I really can’t remember exactly what I said, but once the red haze cleared, he was on smoking, scorched earth. And everybody was staring at me, lol.
Ended that friendship. Good riddance.

@BethDavis I feel like whoever tells that to someone should expect a punch 😀 and I'm not even a aggressive person.

@BethDavis I definitely relate to that! After my brother died, a friend said "when it's your time, it's your time". Wtf?! My brother was 37.

Bae...i have and always will hate that shit....swag and gucci as well, just makes the people saying it sound like mentally challenged

It's actually a word meaning poop in it's original definition but America uses it for " before anyone else"

I always thought it meant a girlfriend or female friend.

Just one? I guess I'd have to go with 'yaaaaaaaasssss'. I hate that noise.

You don't have to stick to just one. I would add mine, but the comments pretty much covered everything I can't stand.

I'm like to add 'Man-splain"

Awesome. Everything is "awesome". When everything is "awesome", nothing is. And if you say "awesome sauce" around me, you better be speaking of a truly exceptional bearnaise.

The unnecessary use of the work "like".

" You people" and "Those people" Girly sucks

"Perfect!"
I'll tell my boss "here's a scenario. . . Here's how I handled it." The scenario may have been handled well, or it might have been handled a little better, and the response it "Perfect!" No it's not. It wasn't bowling 300 or retiring twnty-seven batters in a row. Nothing has been transcended.
Or I'm the boss and I direct my subordinates on their tasks, tell them to be on their way, and their response is "Perfect!" No, you havent done anything yet for chrissake!

I don't take offense to expressions - let people speak how they want because at least they're talking it's a lot better than being afraid to speak.

"You know." I detest it when a person is constantly saying, Your know."
