So, I'm thinking about joining a Native Indigenous church. They use mushrooms and peyote for medicinal and spiritual purposes.
I'll be honest, I'm just interested in legally growing and consuming hallucinogens under the guise of religious exemption.
Why the hell not?

If you are seriously considering doing it for your espoused reason, you probably should re-think what you want to do. I am pretty sure Native Americans take their rituals seriously, and don't want, and likely will not allow, people to join just for the drug benefit. I could be wrong, but I think you'd better do some research if you haven't already

I hear what your saying, but if you won't tell, I won't tell...?

@FinchiMcQ, I've nothing to tell. Your choices are on you, eh?

I've done both peyote and 'shroms the mind set and environment are critical to the trip. Be careful with Peyote the first time the trip can be dangerous.I recommend infusing with nature, I always went to the mountains.

Mushrooms never did much for me.

Me neither...but maybe they have some they could recommend me?

Yep, if it's peyote you're after, as you know this is the only legal way to do it. Why you waiting? Rock on! \m/

I have a soft spot for indigenous spirituality. I love a good sweat lodge. Just be aware that these traditions can be just a sexist and dogmatic as others. At least the value nature tho.

That is precisely the reason why I don't take religion seriously.

Mushrooms grow in the wild, they are free!

What price will you pay for having to mix with a load of numpties?

I'm a great actor!
