If you had to legally change your name what would you switch it to?
Hiromitsu (Means large Light) Hisashi (Always with you) Smith (Because I'm a white guy.).
Smith. Because I'm a white guy. Oh my GOD!!! I'm nearly crying from laughing!!!
I never cared for my surname (it's a long story) and thought about changing it for years. Then I met the man I later married. Problem solved. I took HIS last name once we were married.
Actually when my maternal grandfather died, I thought about changing my last name to his (i.e. my mother's maiden name) because otherwise it will probably die out. He was one of five brothers but almost all of their children were daughters, I think only one of them had a son. My mom vetoed the idea. However a short time later I got so pissed at my old man that I wanted to change my last name as a way of disowning him.
If I could I would go for Your Name. So in every form asking for my name's is just type in Your Name.
