I've wondered about this. Big business was perfectly happy with GOP deregulation and tax cuts, but GOP extremism is really starting to hurt their bottom lines. It's not like red states had great economies to start with, but increasingly business investment is going to go to blue states. Those businesses should be scared. It is about time that they started showing some civic responsibility.

It has nothing to do with responsibility to anything but the bottom line. Democrats seem to be better for that (for the moment).
