Missionaries, or members of a sanctioned gang, have been taken hostage by Haitian gangs and I'm being asked to care. hahahahahhahahaha. I don't and won't.

I can understand having no concern for the missionaries, but unfortunately they brought their children with them. They are now suffering through this ordeal through no fault of their own.

It is always unfortunate when parents bring their children with them into conditions that are unsafe. But the bottom line is the sanctimonious and pious missionaries took it upon themselves to invade another nation for the purpose of winning souls. Yes, they were to help people, but they are also there to proselytize.

Add child endangerment to their list of crimes, then. Got to be responsible with dad's insurance that mom won't question or leave him. That's all the kids are to these men. The women know it and shake their head between laughs. Kids always suffer the sins of adults simply because they have no say in any of it. When they try to speak these kind of so-called adults get mad and tell them to shut up. This is what missionaries inspire and support so the kids were fucked either way.

I don't see how you people are siding with the kidnappers and even hoping bad things happen to them. Shame

It's a matter of who's doing the most harm at this point.

@rainmanjr obviously people kidnapping people for a ransom

These people should not have invaded Haiti in the first place. They were there to proselytize, after helping people with rudimentary physical needs. If they were part of a secular non-prophet NGO, there might be more sympathy for their kidnapping.

Here's hoping they'll be used for a Voudou ceremony complete with human sacrifice. Just kidding... It IS disgusting that, of all the things Haitians might need, evangelical christianity isn't one of them. The hostages plainly have no value other than serving as hostages or organ donors. Worthless skin-bags.

Indeed! Assume the missionary position, you neocolonial sanctimonious religious freaks! 😉
