Don't PANIC, Don't Panic.
In 2060 we will have 'visitor' doing a flyby of our little blue and getting badly polluted and overcrowded planet.
NO, it is NOT God going for a spin around the neighbourhood, and it is NOT Jeebus chucking laps and checking out the chicks either.
It another one those big rocks they call ASTEROIDS, it will pass by the Earth but N.A.S.A. plans, NOTE Plans and in the words of Robbie Burns, "the plans of Mice and Men are to go awry," to use this rock to test out their new New Anti-Asteroid Colliding with Earth Defense system.
Guess what, I ain't gunna be around to see it either.

Living another 39 years sounds like straight torture. If I'm still alive, I can hope our plan fails and knocks the asteroid on course for a collision directly on my part of the planet.

Shortage of "Happy Pills" have we?

@Triphid If you know what pills I can take that will mask this shit show and make me want to be alive, I'm all fucking ears.

By 2060 the republicans will have taken over and disbanded all government agencies so NASA will not exist. Private industry will not see sufficient profit in saving the world when billionaires can escape into space or ride it out in underground shelters. I will not know if I am right in my prediction because I will either be dead or 103, in which case I won't give much of a fuck one way or the other.

I'm sure I will be dead by then.

I'm always extremely disappointed by all those "near misses".
