Had a little boy make my day today.... as I was getting their shopping cart for them, he looked up at me and said, "You're pretty!" Sometimes a sweet kid is right on time!

Was he in the family? Young boys and girls often love how attractive grown ups look. Men with stylish hair and beard, women with makeup and grown assets etc. I wanted my elementary school teacher to like me and I did everything to make her like me incl getting her a glass of water. I wanted to marry her.

Not sure what "in the family" means.

@JonnaBononna

Grandchild, nephew

@St-Sinner no not in my family. A child of a customer where I work. I'd never seen him before.

Children say sweet things, they are born sweet, innocent, non-racist, atheist, just loving and trusting. We corrupt them while raising.

25 years ago in NY I was driving with my friend's family. The youngest of his 2 daughters in the child seat behind said to me... "uncle, will you kiss me?" There was a pin drop silence. I said.. "sure angel, who wouldn't want a kiss from the sweetest angel in the world?" and softly pulled over. Went over to her and said... "hmm... that's the sweetest kiss uncle can ever have." She is studying in Oxford today.

Honesty, one of the privileges of youth. And like all the privileges of youth, never truly valued until its gone.
