John Madden was a special guy. He refused to fly, took a train to every game he worked. He was the only broadcaster who at different times worked NFL games for all four networks. He also had a video game named after him which NFL Madden will continue after his death. Young people don't know what a great coach he was 103–32–7, lots of ties back then, overtime only in playoffs. Coached Raiders to win Superbowl XI. He will be missed.
