Ive seen it whipe out some stuff. I never saw it hurt any military aircraft. They got copper in the aluminum and its tempered.

We get it so heavy here sometimes that it looks like it snowed afterwards.

I experienced grapefruit sized hail about 25 years ago. It wasn't fun holding pieces of sheetmetal up to broken windows to keep ourselves protected.

It can kill but also cost. Here is a report from Melbourne a couple of months ago that also includes a photo of a small hailstone.

My car has more dimples than a golf ball. A friend of mine had her rear window completely smashed out of her car in our last hail storm.

I remember getting caught in a hail storm when I was about 6 years old, and didn't know what it was, but it felt like rocks hitting the top of my head and stinging! Have avoided it since!

Or maybe rain that's trying to kill you?
