I heard a saying that has me a bit baffled. Is it sarcasm, a statement of belief, a mathematical joke, or something else?

"God is the tangential point between zero and infinity."

I think it is saying 'tangentially speaking' that god is everywhere.

Twaddle.

still got my old ISO books SI units (tables) of Tangents and Cosines (Natural), used for geometry and trigonometry, in the days before we had laptops, smart phones and computers. Still got all my slide-rules too. But no mention of God in any of them.

Sounds like a bunch of absolute meaningless unintelligible dribble to me, so I wouldn't take any of it seriously.

I can solve this: Clapton is God! ?

Hmmm?

I knew I was asking the right folks for the answer. 🙂 🙂

Tangent line and point p for those that may not know. The idea is that these lines share a single point.

3

There is no tangential point between zero & infinity, but there is no such thing as a tangential point between any two numbers. Tangential points only exist between lines, surfaces or other higher dimensional objects.

It’s not written very well. It’s better to say god is the tangential point between two parallel lines, but even that is weak.

Is not sarcasm, is not a statement of belief, its not a mathematical joke.... I am glad you asked, I'll tell you what it is, it's called non sense.... That's all

I'll accept that! 🙂

Maybe they meant "tangled" instead of "tangential."

Nonsense couched in machematical terms.

Where God is concerned, Why is there Nothing instead of Something...lol

3

There is no tangential point between zero and infinity, so it's a jokey way of saying that God doesn't exist. Like the square root of minus one. Or 'God is the last digit in the value of Pi'.

here ever the big bang or big bump or membrane vibration, it comes down to the fact of energy was created , within this energy lies what humans call infinity, Infinity without time. No way of knowing where center is from any point in TIME. Without time there are no points.

What do you do with a number that doesn't exist? For 400 points.

Bucketlistbob, you're an interesting being. In a good way.?

@Emme hmmmm... you got me! I had to read your profile...lol.

@BucketlistBob
I see you around on here, "niceguy"?

@Emme. Yes.... im a nice guy... thank you.

@uuberdude. Hmmm... give it a Klingon number... that will screw some heads up.

@BucketlistBob
This is exactly why I love this site❣??

@uuberdude It does exist, its just imaginary.

@uuberdude If he had said it was not real, he would have been correct. But imaginary numbers do exist, they are just not real.
