Why has Neil Young not spoken out against the Canadian protests?

He is Canadian
They have adopted his #1 song, altering the lyrics to "Keep on truck'n in the free world"

As an anti government policy re covid protest, are they not creating vaccine hesitancy? Are they not associating his name by using his song for their cause? Reproducing his music?
So where is the letter from Mr Young demanding the protesters stop using his song and strongly condemning them for promoting misinformation, being a man of principal and all?
So come on Mr Young, be true to your principals and condemn your fellow Canadians as a danger to all, as you did Joe Rogan. Demand they be de-platformed and silenced, as you did before.

Are they protesting vaccines or the governments lockdown policies?

Wow, bro, really? You don't understand that Spotify is a business entity that he has contacts with and a central hub where demand letters can be sent (and someone to haul into court to sue) and protesters are, well, the exact opposite of that? Who is he supposed to send this letter to? Just post it online? Where anyone can say they didn't see it? And when they keep sort of using his song is he supposed to chase them down and ask for their names and addresses so he can name them all individually in a lawsuit to make them stop? Also, are they using a parody song? You realize that parodies are protected under fair use at least in the US, right? SMH

. . . imo, it is not necessary for you (or Young) to conflate Spotify with the protests.

Young objected to Spotify (for having both Rogan and his music), and gave Spotify the 'ultimatum' : (which was complied with)

"I am doing this because Spotify is spreading fake information about vaccines – potentially causing death to those who believe the disinformation being spread by them ... They can have Rogan or Young. Not both."

Agree not necessary to do, but rather hypocritical if he doesn't imo.
Would love someone to ask him about whether he supports the protests or not. You have to assume not going on past statements.
With my sick sense of humour, I would love to see Canadian protesters cancel Neil Young. Sweet irony and instant karma.
